Howmet-Köfém Kft. is the Hungarian subsidy of Howmet Aerospace Inc. which is a New York Stock Exchange listed company.
Howmet Aerospace has been present in Hungary since 1993 when the company acquired majority shares in Székesfehérvári Könnyűfémmű (Köfém). In Hungary, Howmet Aerospace manufactures forged aluminium wheels, aero engine and industrial gas turbine components, highly engineered, multi-material structures for aircraft and fasteners for the aerospace industry.
Howmet-Köfém Kft. operates in two sites: in Székesfehérvár and Nemesvámos with production facilities, central services and a global shared service center.
