Independence Day, traditionally celebrated on July 4th, marks the historic moment when the United States declared its independence in 1776.
Across the States, families and friends come together to celebrate the birth of the nation along with timeless values such as freedom, democracy, and unity. They partake in traditional festivities, including parades, fireworks, barbecues, and concerts. Public ceremonies often feature readings of the Declaration of Independence, patriotic songs, and speeches paying tribute to the nation's founding principles.
On July 7, Sunday, in celebration of our American heritage, we hosted a lively family party at Öbölház, in the alluring green surroundings of Kopaszi dam. The event welcomed nearly 200 guests – both adults and children – to enjoy the day in good company.
The festive program included a special 4th of July menu, face painting for children, and a selfie corner where participants had the opportunity to capture memorable moments.
