Committee Chairperson Elections Fall 2024

AmCham Members,

The AmCham Board is calling for nominations for the Workspace & Facilities Management (WFM) Committee, and Sustainable Growth Committee Chair Positions.

AmCham's seven Committees, each led by a Chairperson, provide one of the core pillars of our Chamber’s work, through their advocacy, knowledge and best-practice sharing activities.The elected Committee Chairs will have the pivotal role of leading the experts of the the respective 2 Committees, while also having the opportunity to become a strong representative of the AmCham business community and  to contribute to our value-creating activities.

About the WFM Committee: 
The Workspace & Facilities Management Committee was formed over a decade ago, with the mission to help Committee members keep up with fast-changing office market trends, give them professional guidelines, present emerging digital technologies to them, and to remain a general go-to knowledge hub in Facilities Management, Enhanced Workspace Experience, Agile Working, and Employee Satisfaction Management. Since then, it has become a vibrant community of soft and hard FM experts, real estate developers and providers of office interior solutions.

About the Sustainable Growth Committee: 
The Sustainable Growth Committee operations are in line with our efforts to put sustainability at the forefront of our advocacy work and our nation's economic policy, outlined in the Policy Agenda 2021-2025. The Committee invites governmental and corporate experts from Hungary and the EU to the discussion to share key information and best practices. In the longer run, members have the possibility to form statements and recommendations, based on consensus. 

APPLICATION
 
To apply, please follow the below steps:

  1. fill out the Candidate Form
  2. provide a short bio describing your professional background including information on previous roles, activities and achievements in AmCham; or other chambers of commerce or business associations
  3. provide an overview of your vision and mission for the Committee and a proposed working plan for the 2024-2026 term (approx. 300-350 words);
  4. attach a photograph in .jpg or .png format.

DEADLINE

All candidates should submit their application via e-mail to elections [at] amcham.hu (subject: Application%20for%20the%20AmCham%20Chair%20Person%20election)  by midnight October 31, 2024 (Thursday). Please specify in the object what Committee Chair position you are applying for.
