Nine employers, including AmCham members Citibank, Morgan Stanley and Magyar Telekom were honored with the Disability-Friendly Workplace Award, recognizing their dedication and efforts to create equal opportunities for disabled people.
Disability-Friendly Workplaces strive to provide real career opportunities to people living with disabilities and to improve their hiring, retention and training practices for this specific group.
The other 2020 recipients are:
- Budapest Főváros Kormányhivatala, XXI. Kerületi Hivatal (Csepel)
- Fővárosi Törvényszék
- Grundfos Magyarország
- METRO Kereskedelmi Kft.
- Pécsi Tudományegyetem
- Rossmann Magyarország Kft.
The winners are allowed to use “Disability-Friendly Workplace” logo for two years.
The award was founded 2010 by the Salva Vita Foundation, AmCham Hungary, the Ministry of Human Capacities and the Hungarian Association for Excellence, partner of the European Foundation for Quality Management.
